Job-Description:

• Key Responsibilities: - Database Architecture Design: Develop and implement scalable database architectures to support real-time data exchange between CIP, Non-CIP systems, and other components. - Database Synchronization: Create and maintain robust solutions for real-time database syncing across distributed systems, ensuring data consistency and integrity. - Optimization & Performance Tuning: Perform database optimization including indexing, query optimization, partitioning, and tuning for efficient processing of large-scale data. - Data Modeling: Design efficient data models to support operational, analytical, and reporting requirements within CEN. - Data Security & Compliance: Ensure database solutions adhere to stringent security protocols, including encryption and access control, and meet regulatory requirements. - Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, system architects, and other stakeholders to ensure database solutions align with overall architecture. - Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all database schemas, processes, and architecture-related changes. - Monitoring & Reporting: Set up monitoring solutions to track database performance and health, generating regular reports on key metrics.
• Qualifications: - Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Experience: Minimum 6-10 years of experience as a Database Architect or similar role, preferably in large-scale distributed systems. - Database Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, Cassandra). - ETL Tools: Proficiency with ETL tools (e.g., Apache Nifi, Talend, Informatica) for data migration and transformation. - Performance Tuning: Proven experience with database performance tuning, indexing, partitioning, and query optimization techniques. - Data Syncing: Expertise in data synchronization strategies across distributed systems. - Good to have experience on cloud. - Security: Deep knowledge of data security practices, including encryption, access control, and database audit logging. - Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to assess system performance and propose optimization solutions.
• Preferred Skills: - Experience with real-time data integration. - Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices for database communication. - Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Soft Skills: - Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams. - Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment.
