AgileEngine - Automation Test Engineer - Functional/Regression Testing (3-5 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

- Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to identify testing requirements.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium/Cypress, and other relevant tools.

- Execute test cases and analyze test results to identify and report defects.

- Perform thorough regression testing to ensure that bug fixes do not introduce new issues.

- Develop and maintain robust and maintainable test automation frameworks.

- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

- Analyze test results, identify trends, and generate comprehensive test reports.

- Identify, log, and track defects in a clear and concise manner using a bug tracking system.

- Work closely with development teams to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues effectively.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, etc.) to understand system requirements and ensure smooth project delivery.

- Mentor and guide junior QA team members in testing methodologies and best practices.

- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Stay abreast of the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications :

Must-Haves :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 3+ years of professional experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automated testing.

- Strong Java programming skills.

- Hands-on experience with Selenium/Cypress or similar test automation frameworks.

- Experience in testing and debugging of web-based applications.

- Experience with integration testing.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-Haves :

- Experience with JavaScript.
