Senior Finance Manager/Accounts Head - IT Consulting Firm (8-14 yrs)

We are a US based I.T. consulting company. We cater to the IT (Consulting Resourcing) needs of some of the renowned MNCs in India and South East Asia, Australia, South Africa, Hong Kong , UK and USA .

We have our offices located in India APAC region, Europe & USA. In India (Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi), Singapore, US and UK. Currently we have following requirement with us

Week off : All Saturday & Sundays off

Finance Manager Key Responsibility Area:

1. Financial Planning, Analysis & Control:

- Analyzes revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets to optimize profitability and transparency.

- Reviews payments made to clients, vendors, and other business partners.

- Analyzing data to assess current and future performance metrics and to identify trends that can help maximize profits.

- Developing long-term financial plans and strategies and determining how to pay off liabilities and grow the business.

- Work with senior leadership on the companys funding related financial diligence and coordination with internal and external teams.

- Assists and supports upper-level management to ensure sound financial decision-making that is in the long-term best interest of the organizational mission.

- Identifying and mitigating threats to a company's financial health, including investments, assets, and operations.

- Companys Offshore Financial Control

2. Financial Books Closure, Review of Financials and Compliances:

- Liaison with Company secretary, Chartered Accountants and Internal Auditors for review and closure of compliance activities and advice wherever needed.

- Company Secretarial Compliances

- Ensuring closure of notices on GST, TDS, Income Tax Assessment etc. are closed in time.

- Reviewing of monthly debtors report shared with the management

- Ensure legal requirements are met, and financial documents are reviewed to ensure tax compliance.

- Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts, financial reporting, audits and compliances.

- Manage all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger.

- Responsible for review of periodical finance closure as per IFRS and Indian GAAP.

- Review of financial reports Balance sheets, Audit Report, Transfer Pricing Report, GST Audit, Tax Audit Report, and Computation of Income.

3. Leadership:

- Responsible for training, supervise, coach, assess, and provide performance feedback to team members.

- Team management and team building

- Engage in sector-specific professional development opportunities to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the financial operations of the business and encourages and enables direct reports and other staff to do the same.

- Guidance to teams to tackle problematic cases

- Streamline accounting practices

4. Banking /Finance:

- Manage funds for all Cash outflows for timely salary processing and vendor payables

- Negotiation with banks regarding all the existing products as well as for new facilities

- Negotiation for best foreign exchange rate, Fixed Deposit rate

- Reviewing submission of DP Statement (for CC facility) on quarterly basis

- Fund Raising from banks

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

- CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification/ MBA/PGDM/CFA

- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.

- 5 years of managerial experience.

- Proven knowledge of financial analysis and strategy.

- Administrative and management skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

- In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations and industry legislation

- Negotiation skills

- Thorough knowledge of salary tax components.

- IPO Experience (Investor Relations and Fund Raising) will be an added advantage.
