Were looking for a passionate, forward-thinking Written Content Head to lead our written content strategy and execution across all platforms.

Role Overview

The Written Content Head will serve as the custodian of all written content across the organization, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with the brand’s voice and values. In this role, you will lead efforts to implement AI-driven solutions to enhance content production and quality. You will manage content creation across web and product pages, email marketing campaigns for lead generation, and social media platforms, and oversee blog content writers.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy and Management - Develop and execute a comprehensive written content strategy that aligns with the company’s marketing objectives and brand identity. - Oversee the production of web content, product descriptions, email campaigns, and social media posts. - Ensure content adheres to SEO best practices and is optimized for audience engagement and conversion.

AI Integration for Content Scaling - Leverage AI tools to streamline content creation, improve quality, and scale up production across platforms. - Train and upskill the team to integrate AI solutions into daily workflows. - Use data-driven insights to enhance content performance and ensure continuous improvement.

Lead Generation and Campaign Support - Plan and execute end-to-end email marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and customer engagement. - Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to craft compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences.

Team Leadership - Line manage blog content writers, providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities. - Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture focused on delivering exceptional content.

Quality Assurance - Maintain the highest standards of quality, consistency, and accuracy across all written materials. - Act as the brand’s editorial gatekeeper, ensuring all content reflects the brand’s tone and values.

Performance Measurement - Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to inform strategy and decision-making. - Regularly report on content ROI, identifying areas for improvement and growth.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in content strategy and creation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Proficiency in using AI tools for content creation and optimization (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Grammarly, etc.).

Strong understanding of SEO, content marketing, and lead generation strategies.

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail.

Proven experience in managing teams and working cross-functionally with marketing and product teams.

Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and refine strategies accordingly.

Preferred Attributes

Experience in the financial services, insurance, or technology sectors.

Familiarity with email marketing platforms and analytics tools.

Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
