Job Description :

We are seeking a Junior Manual Tester to join our quality assurance team. As a Junior Manual Tester, you will work under the guidance of senior QA specialists to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying defects, and reporting issues to improve software performance, usability, and functionality. This role is ideal for someone eager to start their career in software testing and gain hands-on experience in the field of quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Execute manual test cases based on test plans and user stories.

- Identify and report defects, track progress, and verify defect fixes.

- Collaborate with developers and other team members to understand requirements and improve software quality.

- Ensure software functionality and usability meet requirements and specifications.

- Conduct regression testing to verify the stability of software after fixes and updates.

- Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues not covered in test cases.

- Document test results and maintain clear, accurate, and organized test logs.

- Participate in team meetings and provide input on test planning and test strategy.

Requirements :

- Basic understanding of software testing principles and concepts.

- Familiarity with manual testing techniques (e.g., functional, regression, integration testing).

- Ability to follow instructions and test cases to execute predefined scenarios.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaborating with the team.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.

- A passion for quality assurance and a willingness to learn new testing methods and tools.

- Some experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) is a plus but not required.

- Knowledge in one of the following languages is considered as plus point but not a must: Python / C# / Java

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or relevant experience.

- Previous internship or academic experience in software testing is a plus but not required.
