Supplier Quality Programs: Develop, implement, and maintain supplier quality assurance programs and processes to ensure that suppliers meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
Supplier Audits: Plan and conduct supplier audits, assessments, and evaluations to assess compliance with quality management systems, specifications, and contractual requirements.
Quality Agreements: Establish and maintain quality agreements, service level agreements (SLAs), and quality performance metrics with suppliers to define expectations and ensure accountability.
Supplier Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), quality metrics, and periodic reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Non-Conformance Management: Investigate and address supplier-related non-conformances, deviations, and quality issues, leading root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions (CAPAs) to prevent recurrence.
Risk Management: Identify and assess risks associated with suppliers, materials, and processes, implementing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize quality and compliance risks.
Supplier Development: Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement initiatives, provide guidance on quality best practices, and support supplier development and capability building efforts.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA regulations) in supplier operations and product/service offerings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, engineering, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs, to align supplier quality objectives with business goals and priorities.
