Aeris is looking for DevOps engineers who are eager to learn new skills and help develop services using the latest technology. You should be passionate about building scalable and highly available infrastructure and services. You will work closely with Aeris development teams to deliver a leading connected vehicle platform to automotive OEMs.
Job Responsibilities:
Create and optimize complex SQL queries and manage database schemas to ensure high performance and scalability.
Develop robust, efficient, and maintainable data applications and software solutions using Python/Java.
Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
Identify, debug, and resolve software issues and performance bottlenecks.
Work closely with cross functional, globally distributed teams to deliver joint initiatives.
Dive deep to resolve problems at their root, looking for failure patterns and driving resolution
Work in a dynamic environment, adapting to modern technologies and methodologies to drive IoT solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 7+ years of experience of coding in SQL and Python/Java.
Proficiency in SQL for database querying, optimization, and management.
Experience in Python/Java for Pipeline development, scripting, and automation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of successfully solving complex technical issues.
