Manager - Internal Audit

Role & responsibilities

• Audit Planning: Assisting in the development of audit plans and ensuring that audit procedures are designed to meet the audit objectives.
• Audit Execution: Executing audit procedures and documenting the results of testing in a clear and concise manner. You will also be responsible for supervising the work of entry-level auditors.
• Risk Assessment: Assessing and documenting risks related to the areas being audited and ensuring that audit procedures are designed to address those risks.
• Communication: Communicating with the auditee and other stakeholders to obtain relevant information and to present findings and recommendations.
• Follow ups: Monitoring and reporting on the progress of implementing corrective actions and improvement opportunities identified in prior audit reports.
• Technical Expertise: Expected to possess strong technical skills in areas such as accounting, auditing, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Professional Development: Responsible for developing the skills and knowledge through coaching and training.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate/Post Graduate with 4+ years of relevant work experience in internal audit from BFSI industry (insurance industry is preferred)
• Having good hold on preparing presentations, report writing, excel & drafting
• Excellent communication skills with an intent of learning
