Intern - Underwriting (Internal Audit)

Role Summary: Bandhan Life Insurance Ltd. is seeking Apprentice in the Internal Audit function for auditng new business on concurrent basis.

Key Focus Area:

Daily review of sample new policies issued to ensure following

• Check new policy logins for accuracy and completeness.

• Ensure all required documents and customer information are correct.

• Verify policies follow internal guidelines and regulatory requirements (e.g., KYC/AML).

• Identify and report discrepancies or missing information.

• Ensure customer details meet product guidelines (age, income, BMI, etc.).

• Check for proper de-dupe processes and EIA account creation, KYC ID creation.

• Highlight potential risks that could lead to policy rejections or claims issues.

• Suggest ways to improve audit and data-checking processes.

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Graduate / Post Graduate

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

• 1-3 years of experience in internal audit or operations or Underwriting in life insurance.

• Knowledge of life insurance products and regulations.

• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
