Our fast-paced Regulatory team is looking for a junior regulatory counsel with experience in the payments, retail banking, network and/or finance industry. The successful candidate must be able to work as a business partner with a wide range of teams, including risk, legal, finance and sales, and provide pragmatic advice and guidance to build sustainable growth.
What youll do:
Manage various routine and ad hoc regulatory requests and filings
Support in managing board, committees and general meetings
Support internal stakeholders with regulatory requirements
Operationalise regulatory requirements in India for Adyen
Advise on various agreements with merchants and service providers
Advise on regulatory and compliance obligations and risks relating to Adyen India
Analyze and summarize regulatory policies, guidelines and reports, bills and acts, licensing and authorisation requirements pertaining to payments and financial services industry in India
Who you are:
You are officially qualified as a lawyer and company secretary in India.
You are fully proficient in English
You have at least 2-5 years of post qualification experience in a secretarial /regulatory/legal role/compliance ( regulatory/legal/compliance experience within a global institution is a plus)
You have some working knowledge of the payment industry, retail banking, acquiring or finance
You will have solid interpersonal skills, specifically you will be able to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and Merchants from varying disciplines and cultures
Your strong sense of initiative and self-motivation will add value to a fast-growing business
You must already reside in India and be willing to be based in Mumbai
