Role : Backend Java developer

Profile Requirement :

Should be able to work on all layers of a Java-based web application.

Skills required :

- Expertise in core java

- Strong skills in algorithms, data structures and object-oriented programming

- Strong skills in designing scalable web systems

- Experience in working on REST services and libraries like spring and hibernate

- Experience in writing complex queries and understanding of database concepts and configurations (MySQL)

- Understanding of design patterns.

- Experience in microservice architecture will be a plus.

Software Development :

- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code for backend services and APIs.

- Implementing business logic and integrating various components of the system.

Database Design and Management :

- Designing and managing relational databases (like MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (like MongoDB).

- Writing optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and managing database schemas.

API Development and Integration :

- Developing RESTful services or GraphQL APIs for frontend and third-party integrations.

- Ensuring proper error handling and data validation in API endpoints.

Testing and Debugging :

- Writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure code reliability and functionality.

- Debugging issues, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing code for performance.

Code Review and Maintenance :

- Reviewing code written by peers and maintaining code quality through code standards.

- Refactoring code when necessary to improve readability, performance, and scalability.

Security Best Practices :

- Ensuring secure coding practices to protect applications from vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, XSS).

- Implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth).
