Job Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Backend Developer with hands-on experience in Kafka (2+ years mandatory) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in backend development, microservices architecture, and real-time data processing.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Java-based backend applications.

- Implement Kafka-based event-driven architecture for real-time data processing.

- Develop and maintain microservices using Spring Boot.

- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Product, and Frontend teams.

- Troubleshoot and resolve Kafka-related performance bottlenecks and issues.

- Ensure secure and efficient API development and integration.

- Work with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) for deployment and scaling.

Required Skills :

- Strong Java 8+ and Spring Boot, Micro-services expertise

- Mandatory hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (2+ years)

- Experience in Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, and Schema Registry

- Proficiency in Microservices architecture

- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and WebSockets

- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.)

- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

- Experience working in Agile environments

Good to Have :

- Exposure to Cloud Services (AWS/Azure/GCP)

- Experience with Kafka Monitoring tools (Confluent, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
