The primary and majority function of this job is to manage ateam
Manages personnel activities of staff (ie hires, trains, appraises,pay, rewards, motivates, disciplines, recommends termination as necessary,etc)
Design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products(both internal and external) with focus on surpassing customer expectations, onachieving high quality and on-time delivery
Responsible for ensuring theoverall functional quality of the released product on all required platformsand mechanism
Ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems
Creates, documents, and executes software designs which may involve significantre-architecture of important systems, defining and coordinating implementationof wide-reaching impacts
Acts as Technical lead of projects that span multipleareas of a product
Broad and direct consulting with customers in regard tofuture upgrades and products
Sets the technical direction for one area of aproduct
Promotes innovation through the ability to introduce newtechnology/knowledge into multiple areas of a product and to our people
Ableto solve the most complex of technical problems
Technical Lead in guidingjunior engineers
Works without supervision on the most complex projects withcomplete latitude for independent judgment and technical expertise

About the role

bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or arelated field
10+ years total working experience of software developmentor management
Minimum 2+ years management experience of leadingmultiple complex projects simultaneously.
Programming experience in any one of Java/C# languages.Experience using TypeScript and NodeJS is a plus.
Understanding of Agile methodologies (eg, Scrum, Kanban)with some experience in leading Agile teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with theability to effectively work with cross-functional teams across subject areas,roles, and geographical and time zone boundaries
Proven ability to mentor and guide team members, fosteringtheir growth and development.

Desired Requirements: -

Have a good understanding of modern architectures andDevOps principles
Experience with cloud service development, deployments andoperations, scalability and reliability and resources optimization.
Familiar with one or more products in the Siemens DigitalIndustry Software portfolio, such as NX, Teamcenter, Simcenter, Opcenter,Mendix, Insights Hub, Siemens Xccelerator.
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker andorchestration tools like Kubernetes
Familiarity with security best practices and implementingsecurity controls in a cloud environment
