Senior Pega/PRPC Developer

Pega Developer/Lead will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex Pega applications, primarily focusing on Business Process Management (BPM) using the Pega platform. This role requires significant experience in Pega 8.x, especially in complex application integrations, designing custom solutions, and working through various stages of the SDLC in agile environments.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience: 6 to 15 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a Pega SSA role.
• Pega Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with PEGA versions 8.x and its components such as Process Flows, UI (Harness, Sections), Decision Tables, Decision Trees, and Connectors.
• Project Experience: Proven experience in implementing at least 2 complex projects using Pega.
• Integration Skills: Expertise in integrating enterprise systems and non-Pega applications with Pega, handling complex integrations using services, APIs, and other middleware.
• Pega Rules: Deep understanding and hands-on experience in implementing agents, job schedulers, queue processors, activities, and other Pega rules.
• Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile SDLC, iterative development, and delivering projects in multiple release cycles.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise between business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

• Design Pega-based BPM applications that align with business needs.
• Customize out-of-the-box Pega functionality to meet specific requirements through custom rules, activities, and UI.
• Develop enterprise-level applications using Pega Platform and related technologies.

System Integration:

• Integrate Pega applications with external systems (databases, web services, APIs).
• Lead the integration of Pega systems with other technologies, ensuring smooth communication between platforms.

Collaboration with Business and IT Teams:

• Work closely with Business Architects (BAs) and Product Owners to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions in Pega.
• Act as the liaison between non-technical stakeholders and the Pega development team, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Lead unit testing and integration testing phases to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of Pega applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects using tools like Pega Clipboard.

Project Leadership & Delivery:

• Lead the development team in delivering high-quality Pega-based solutions.
• Oversee scoping, planning, and ensuring successful delivery of projects using iterative development lifecycles.
• Perform detailed code and design reviews to ensure optimal quality and performance of the developed solution.

Optimization and Customization:

• Architect and design advanced customizations to meet complex business requirements.
• Conduct code reviews and suggest optimizations for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Defect Management & Debugging:

• Utilize debugging tools, particularly the Pega Clipboard, to identify and resolve issues during different testing phases.
• Contribute to deployment planning and troubleshooting during rollout.

Advanced Pega Knowledge:

• Develop and maintain an advanced understanding of PRPC Architecture, design principles, and implementation features
