Job Overview:

Our client is a prestigious family office, renowned for its successful investments in the global healthcare and consumer sectors, is seeking a highly skilled Investment Professional. They are launching a new fund focused on healthcare and life sciences, with an ambitious target size of USD 100 million. They are looking for an experienced individual to support this exciting initiative, with a strong emphasis on healthcare or pharmaceutical market research experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Healthcare & Pharma Market Research: Conduct comprehensive research on the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, identifying key market trends, investment opportunities, and potential risks. Strong experience in healthcare or pharma research is essential.

- Financial Analysis & Valuation: Perform detailed financial analysis, build financial models, and conduct company valuations to assess the attractiveness of investment opportunities in the healthcare and life sciences space.

- Investment Recommendations: Prepare thorough investment memos and provide strategic recommendations for presentation to senior executives and the investment committee.

- Due Diligence: Participate in the due diligence process, assessing both the financial and operational aspects of potential investments, with a particular focus on healthcare and pharmaceutical companies.

- Deal Structuring & Negotiations: Support deal structuring efforts and assist in negotiations to ensure the fund secures favorable investment terms.

- Portfolio Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance of portfolio companies, offering analytical support to track growth and identify value-creation opportunities within the healthcare and life sciences sectors.

- Investor Relations & Fundraising: Assist in fundraising activities, contribute to investor communications, and help cultivate relationships with both current and potential investors.

Must Have:

- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field is required. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

- Experience: A minimum of 5-12 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or similar roles. Prior experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences research is mandatory.

- Skills: Strong expertise in financial modeling, company valuations, and financial analysis. Proficiency with financial analysis tools and platforms is essential.

- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial and market data to senior stakeholders effectively.

- Problem-Solving & Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a strong problem-solving mindset.

- Team Collaboration & Independence: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing internal and external relationships efficiently.
