Qualification: B.Tech Chemical

KRA1 1. Production/Operations:
Ensure smooth operation of all sections of Membrane Cell plant with proper DCS operation 1. Ensure maintenance of all the process parameters of primary brine, secondary brine, cell house, hydrochloric acid synthesis furnace, chlorine and hydrogen handling including Chlorine bottling, caustic evaporation, sodium hypo and utilities
2. Maintain critical parameters like differential pressure, Caustic concentration and temperature, brine temperature, chlorine liquefaction parameters, sodium hypo and hydrochloric acid plant operations
3. Acknowledgement and corrective actions on deviation alarms in coordination field engineer
4. Ensure plant operation as per SOP
5. Ensure plant start up and stoppage as per checklist
6. Prompt actions on deviations to avoid plant trippin KRA2
1. Maintain process and quality parameters strictly
2. Maintain in process parameters to meet customers quality requirements
3. Switchover quickly parameters during load variations to ensure product qualit KRA3 3. Cost Control
Control cost of production to achieve production within budgeted cost with proper DCS operation of Membrane Plant 1. Stringent control on process parameters
2. Timely control deviations from DCS for optimization of chemical consumption
3. Ensure running equipments at optimal value
4. Control any idle running of equipments KRA4 4. Energy Conservation :
Manage optimum Energy Consumption with proper DCS operation of membrane plant 1. Control optimum consumption of cell power and auxiliary power2. Maintain setting of all VFDs at optimum level
3. Monitor and control cells for optimum cell power consumption KRA5 5. System Management (Safety, Sustainability WCM):
Adhere to safety statutory environmental requirements 1. Strictly adhere to safety norms safe operational procedures
2. Strictly adhere to OHSAS18001, ISO 14001 SA 8000 norms
3. Implement IMS, WCM and sustainability practices
4. Handle emergency situations like Liquid Chlorine leakages etc under onsite Disaster Management activities
5. Train the team to comply with these norms
6. Maintain process systems having zero effluent and zero accident KRA6 6. Energy Conservation :
Manage optimum Energy Consumption with proper DCS operation of membrane plant 1. Control optimum consumption of cell power and auxiliary power
2. Maintain setting of all VFDs at optimum level
3. Monitor and control cells for optimum cell power consumption KRA7 7. Customer Service
Follow directives and meet customer needs 1. Meet internal and external customer needs take timely action on the same
2. Make final product dispatch as per customer requirement

B.tech+M.tech

5-10 Years
