Job Description
- Build and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Implement responsive designs to ensure seamless performance across all devices.
- Develop and integrate custom features and functionalities based on business requirements.
- Work with Shopify APIs, apps, and third-party tools to enhance platform capabilities.
- Performance Optimization:
- Ensure website speed, SEO, and overall performance are optimized.
- Debug and resolve issues related to code or third-party integrations.
- Collaborate with designers to translate mockups into functional, user-friendly interfaces.
- Work with the marketing team to implement A/B testing, promotional pages, and custom landing pages.
- Update and maintain the Shopify store to ensure uptime and performance.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs or errors promptly.
- 5+ years of experience in Shopify s Liquid templating language.
- 5+ Years experience in Shopify s ecosystem.
- 3+ years in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (and frameworks like jQuery or React if needed).
- 3- 5 years Experience in customizing Shopify themes and building custom templates.
- 3-5 years with Shopify APIs and third-party app integrations.
- 3-5 years of exepreince inversion control systems (e.g., Git).
- 3-5 years in Liquid Storefronts for Theme Developers Certification is a plus.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles for e-commerce.
- Consumer and B2B Commerce Experience
- Experience with JSON, GraphQL, or RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with payment gateway and shipping integrations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
- Detail-oriented approach to quality and performance.
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices.
