Devops Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Management:
• Manage and optimize infrastructure on platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Configure auto-scaling groups to handle varying system loads efficiently.
• Database and Cluster Management:
• Set up and manage self-hosted databases, Kafka clusters, and other distributed systems.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and high availability.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
• Implement performance monitoring tools to track system health and identify bottlenecks.
• Optimize costs across cloud services to ensure efficiency.
• Alerts and Incident Management:
• Configure alerts for critical events and thresholds to ensure proactive issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain incident response procedures.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency in setting up auto-scaling and optimizing cloud resources.
• Hands-on experience managing self-hosted databases, Kafka clusters, and other distributed systems.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and cost optimization strategies.
• Strong understanding of alerting frameworks and incident management processes.
