Final Inspection: Conduct thorough inspection and testing of finished electronic products, including circuit boards, assemblies, and completed devices, to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
Testing and Calibration: Use a variety of testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and automated test systems to evaluate electronic components for functionality, performance, and reliability.
Troubleshooting: Identify defects or issues in products and components and collaborate with engineering or production teams to troubleshoot and resolve them.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and any defects or non-conformities found during the FQC process. Prepare reports for quality control teams and management.
Standards Compliance: Ensure that all products comply with relevant industry standards, including safety and environmental regulations (e.g., RoHS, CE).
Root Cause Analysis: Participate in root cause analysis activities to identify and address recurring quality issues, and assist in developing corrective actions to prevent future defects.
Process Improvement: Recommend process improvements to enhance product quality, streamline testing procedures, and increase efficiency in the final quality control stage.
Collaboration: Work closely with the production, engineering, and design teams to provide feedback on product quality and suggest improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Education: A degree or diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in electronics quality control or a related technical field.
Skills:
Proficient in using electronic testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and test benches.
Strong knowledge of quality control standards, industry regulations, and electronic manufacturing processes.
Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, circuit diagrams, and technical manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and quality management systems (QMS) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in quality control, such as Six Sigma, ISO, or IPC standards.
Familiarity with automated testing systems and software.
Knowledge of electrical safety standards and risk management.
Work Environment:
This role is typically performed in a production or manufacturing environment.
The position may require standing for extended periods and using fine motor skills for inspecting small components.
Safety equipment (e.g., gloves, goggles) may be required while handling electronic components.
