Area Sales Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Area Business Manager (ABM) to drive sales, expand our market presence, and manage a team of Medical Representatives (MRs). The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, a proven track record in pharmaceutical sales, and experience in promoting *allopathic general medicines. *

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve sales targets and business objectives for the assigned territory.

Develop and execute territory sales plans to increase market share.

Manage, train, and motivate a team of Medical Representatives (MRs).

Conduct doctor engagement programs, CMEs, and marketing initiatives.

Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, distributors, and stockists.

Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence.

Ensure timely reporting of sales data, customer feedback, and performance metrics.

Collaborate with the Marketing & Sales Head for strategy execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✅ B.Pharma / B.Sc (MBA in Pharma Marketing preferred).✅ 3-7 years of experience in pharma sales & marketing (at least 1 year as ABM preferred).✅ Strong understanding of pharma products, market trends, and sales strategies.✅ Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.✅ Ability to handle a team and drive performance.✅ Willingness to travel within the assigned area.
