Engineer- 3D Modelling using NX Wiring Harness

Role & responsibilities

1. Responsible for creating vehicle schematics based on inputs provided.

2. Analyze the existing schematic design and suggest optimization.

3. Will have to perform Electrical network analysis, component selection such as connectors/Terminals, Wire size, fuse, etc.

4. Participate in discussions with cross functional teams for issue resolution, root cause analysis and troubleshooting of schematic using simulation of circuits.

5. Will be involved in battery loading and power rating calculations.

6. Handling of change requests for wiring harness.

7. Update the work progress to the superiors.

8. Involved in quality review of the deliverables.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Preferably from Automobile/ Commercial Vehicle/ OEM Industry.

2. Must have exposure to Vehicle Electrical schematics creation and 3D harness drawings.

3. Should have good understanding of Vehicle architecture & integration of various modules.

4. Should be strong in wiring harness concepts like connector selection, fuse and wire size determination.

5. Must have Experience in design, development, release and validation of vehicle wire harness systems and components.

6. Must have the knowhow to various safety standards and regulations for harness design.
