Job Description
Responsibilities
- Planning & execution of the required quantities of parent seed.
- Delivery of high quality parent seeds for commercial seed production on time.
- Planning the quantities on PAN India basis for different crops in different geographies.
- Timely reviewing the seed arrivals & make alternative plans in case of shortfalls to meet required volumes on time.
- Motivate & train the team members for knowledge imparting and innovations on regular basis.
- Should know budgeting for the region and control over the prepared budget. Coordinating with other departments such as R&D, Quality, Processing, CSP, Finance & HR time to time for the better realization of goals & targets.
- Reviewing budget time to time for effective utilization of resources.
- Ensuring timely updates to head of department on the progress of crops & other projects under taken.
- Ensuring the security of parent seeds at all the stages of operation.
