Job Description

Job Title: Presales Consultant (Cloud & On-Premises Solutions)

Location: Bahrain

ACME seeks a highly skilled and experienced Presales Consultant to support our sales team in selling HPE, Nutanix, and related server, storage, HCI, and virtualization solutions, along with AWS and Azure cloud services. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise across both on-premise and cloud environments, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully closing deals. They will be a key technical advisor and supporter throughout the sales cycle.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Technical Pre-Sales Support (On-Premise & Cloud): Provide comprehensive technical expertise and guidance to the sales team, encompassing both on-premise (HPE, Nutanix, etc.) and cloud (AWS, Azure) solutions. This includes responding to technical queries, creating proposals, and assisting in solution design and architecture.
  • Solution Design & Architecture (Hybrid & Multi-Cloud): Collaborate with sales teams to design and architect robust hybrid and multi-cloud solutions that meet client needs. This involves sizing infrastructure, selecting appropriate hardware and software, and developing comprehensive technical specifications.
  • Proof of Concept (POC) Development & Support: Develop, deploy, and support POC solutions for potential clients, demonstrating the value and capabilities of our technology portfolio (HPE, Nutanix, AWS, Azure).
  • Technical Presentations & Demos: Deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the strengths of our integrated solutions and effectively answering technical questions.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough competitive analyses of alternative solutions, identifying strengths and weaknesses to effectively position our offerings.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with the sales team to create detailed technical proposals, including specifications, pricing, and implementation timelines.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with potential clients, acting as a trusted technical advisor and providing ongoing support.
  • Sales Support: Participate in sales meetings and calls, providing expert technical guidance and answering client questions.
  • Technical Training & Enablement: Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends and provide regular training to the sales team on both cloud and on-premise solutions.

Skills Required:

  • 5-8 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role, with a proven track record of success selling and implementing solutions involving HPE, Nutanix, server, storage, HCI, virtualization, and major cloud providers (AWS, Azure).
  • Deep understanding of server, storage, virtualization, and hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) technologies, both on-premise and in cloud environments.
  • Extensive experience with designing and architecting IT solutions in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in HPE, Nutanix, VMware, AWS (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.), and Azure (Solutions Architect Expert, DevOps Engineer Expert, etc.) are highly desirable.
