JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Manager Costing
Qualification: A degree in Cost Accountancy, CIMA, CMA or similar certification
Experience: Minimum 7 to 10 years of work experience in Costing Department
Team Size: Individual Contributor Role
Reporting to: Asst. General Manager Finance & Accounts
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Analysis and Reporting:
Conduct comprehensive cost analysis to determine the manufacturing costs of pharmaceutical products, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.
Standard Costing Management:
Develop and maintain standard costing systems for pharmaceutical products in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the development of annual operating budgets and forecasts by providing accurate costing data and analysis.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels and valuation methods to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles (e.g., FIFO, LIFO).
Product Costing for Pricing Strategy:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to determine optimal pricing strategies based on product costs, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
Compliance and Audit Support:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to product costing, inventory valuation, and financial reporting
Support internal and external audits by providing accurate costing data, documentation, and explanations as needed.
