Job Title: Senior Network Engineer (IP/MPLS) - Nokia Routers

Location: Gurugram/Manesar, India (Remote)

Experience: 5 - 15 Years

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer with a strong focus on IP/MPLS technologies on Nokia routers to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex network infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex IP/MPLS networks, including BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS VPN, L3VPN, VPLS, and other advanced routing protocols.
• In-depth knowledge of Nokia 7750 SR, 7210 SAS, and other Nokia router platforms.
• Hands-on experience with network configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Experience with network security best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
• Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with other network engineers, system administrators, and application teams to resolve network issues.
• Document and maintain network configurations and operational procedures.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies in IP/MPLS networking.
• Participate in on-call rotation for network support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-15 years of experience in IP/MPLS networking with a strong focus on Nokia routers.
• In-depth knowledge of BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS VPN, L3VPN, VPLS, and other advanced routing protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Nokia 7750 SR, 7210 SAS, and other Nokia router platforms.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with network automation and orchestration tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Knowledge of network virtualization technologies (SDN, NFV).
• Industry certifications (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE, Nokia Certified Professional).
• Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools.
