Functional Safety Engineer

Role & responsibilities

•   Designing and implementing firmware for embedded devices and systems
• Development of embedded software, including design, implementation, bug-fixing,
  documentation and validation for embedded system.
• Follow well defined software development process for coding & design documentation
• Develop and test well-structured source code
• Performs design reviews
• Troubleshooting and fix all related issues on new development product

YOU MUST HAVE

• B.E/M.E/M.Tech or B.S/M.S in EE/CE with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong background in UART, I2C and SPI protocols, Bluetooth,
• Previous experience working with all levels of management
• Hands-on knowledge in Embedded FW using C, C++ on Embedded Linux OS(RTOS).
• Knowledge on device drivers and low level firmware .
• Experience in working in Microprocessor based
• 3-7  years of experience in FW application development using C, C++
• Highly skilled in analyzing and trouble shooting
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team within time constraints and under minimum supervision

Preferred candidate profile

GOOD TO HAVE

• Understanding of memory technologies such as DDR4, DDR5, LPDDR, and JEDEC standards
• Solid communication and collaborative skills
• Knowledge on ISO 26262 standards (Functional Safety)
• Digital design and experience with RTL design in Verilog/SystemVerilog
• Version control systems such as Perforce, ICManage or Git
