Role & responsibilities
1. Operations Management:
Supervise and manage the RCM team, ensuring timely and accurate claims submission and payment posting.
Monitor daily workflows, processes, and productivity levels to meet SLA requirements.
2. Denial and AR Management:
Oversee denial resolution, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
Lead AR follow-ups to maintain DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) within target limits.
3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Track and analyze key metrics such as clean claim rates, collections, and denial rates.
Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
4. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure adherence to HIPAA guidelines and payer-specific regulations.
Conduct audits to maintain high-quality standards in all RCM processes.
5. Team Leadership and Training:
Mentor, train, and guide team members to enhance productivity and skill development.
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, share feedback, and address issues.
6. Client Interaction:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
Act as a liaison between clients, insurance payers, and internal teams.
7. Process Improvement:
Identify gaps in processes and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance the RCM workflow.
Preferred candidate profile
Certification in medical coding (CPC, CCS) or RCM processes is an added advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of healthcare industry trends, including value-based care and telehealth RCM.
