Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization to join our dynamic team. The Data Analyst will also be responsible for ensuring data lineage and quality, contributing to continuous improvements, and supporting business needs through actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

*Leverage advanced Python scripting to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
*Write complex SQL queries to extract, filter, and transform data as needed for analysis.
*Develop and maintain automated data pipelines for repetitive analysis tasks
*Ensure proper data lineage is maintained across datasets and reporting processes to ensure transparency and traceability.
*Identify, document, and communicate data flows, ensuring data is accurate, consistent, and available to stakeholders.
*Create clear, interactive, and insightful data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to convey analytical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
*Design and deliver dashboards that provide real-time insights into key business metrics and performance indicators.
*Work closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver insights that help drive business decisions.

Must-Have Skills and Qualifications:

*Advanced Python: Proficiency in Python, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and Seaborn for data analysis, automation, and visualization.
*SQL: Strong expertise in SQL, including the ability to write complex queries, work with relational databases, and manipulate data effectively.
*Data Lineage Governance: Experience documenting and managing data lineage, ensuring data integrity and traceability across multiple systems.
*Data Visualization: Expertise in creating data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Ability to design dashboards and visual reports that are intuitive and impactful.
*Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes and objectives with the ability to translate data into actionable insights that support business goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

*Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for data storage and processing.
*Familiarity with ETL tools or data pipeline automation (e.g., Informatica, Apache Airflow).
*Experience working in Agile environments.
*Knowledge of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms is a plus.
