Purpose of the Position (Job Summary):
Monitoring of the Project progress and responsible for complete documentation like DPR, WPR, MPR, Material Indents for Free Issue Materials, updating and obtain the sign of inspection reports from clients, pipeline activities Index, IMIR(Incoming Material Inspection Report) preparation for brought out Materials, certification of Measurement sheets and office administration.
Shall be responsible for:
- To work and co ordinate under the direction of Project Manager.
- Project Planning & Monitoring: Preparation of Project completion schedule in the given completion period and its approval, and Preparation of Billing Schedule with the SOR/PO is the very first responsibility of the Planning Engineer/Billing Engineer.
- Targeting on time project completion using optimum resources to deliver customer satisfaction. Planning, Scheduling and Monitoring projects from Concepts to Commissioning stage. Generate progress reports in daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Daily Progress report preparation in details comprehensive way to get the all progress for the day in one document and next day plan for the each and every activity with the responsible person and his contact number.
- Brought out materials/ Consumables Track: Site Planning Engineer responsible for the preparation of IMIR for the recived materials and get the liquidate for those in the immediate billing, and inform the project manager about the stocks of daily consumables on daily/weekly basis and jeep a track on the records of major consumables and equipments to avoid the machine down time.
- Certification of MCEDS/ Manpower: Responsible for obtain the certification of MCEDS (Minimum Construction Equipment Deployment Schedule) with respect to the Tender terms and asper the actual deployment at site from the PMC/Clients.
- Hindrances Register: Preparation of Hindrance register at site on each and every day comprehensively for the hindrances attribute to the clients and PMC like ROU Hindrances and design engineering delays and make the document evidence and photographs evidence for ROU issues. And send these evidences to HO-Project Co ordinator on weekly basis.
- Extra Works/Additional Works: Responsible for preparation of documents along with the evidence for the execution of Extra works/Additional works which were executed beyond the PO terms and conditions, Preparation of Rate Analysis and certification of the same from PMC/Client.
- Amendment of PO: Responsible for Amendment of Quantities which were exceeding the PO Quantities in respect to the proposed final quantities to be executed and their certification from PMC/Clients for amendment of PO if required.
- Daily and Weekly Review Meeting: Shall be responsible for conduct the every day meeting at site at the end of the day and collect the progress for the day and plan for the next day with the available work front, and preparation of weekly reports in chainage wise and up to joint number level to find the gaps in between the location and escalate the same to Project Manager/Co ordinator for the plan of execution of get the continuity in the section.
- Pipe Book: Preparation and certification of Pipebook Part-A during the execution of the project to provide the work front for lowering teams in close monitoring with QC teams and Coating teams.
- Correspondence : Responsible for preparation of draft letters escalating the various hindrances and bottle necks of the pipeline progress execution and report the same with Co ordinator to issue the letters to PMC/Client.
- Project Costing & Estimation: To assess the Project Cost in terms of work content, Material Cost, Capital Equipment Cost and Man Power Cost.
- Scheduling: Both pre bid and post bid scheduling (with execution team) for various projects related works.
Administrating: Ensuring that the Project s contractual and administrative requirements are filled with respect to planning requirements. - Billing : To generate running accounts bills for the project
- Maintenance: Develops and maintains comprehensive library of proposal templates. Keep all documents safe and under control using visual control system.
People Management
- Build and maintain relationships with Site Team, Vendors, Compliance authorities, Auditors etc.
- Monitor adherence to company policies by team members.
