Job Summary:
- As a Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals to achieve monthly targets, maintain low attrition rates, and ensure the overall success of Inbound & outbound sales activities in the Motor Insurance Vertical.
- Your role will involve creating and implementing strategies to improve team performance, managing customer interactions, and ensuring that all departmental operations align with business goals.
- You will also be responsible for resource planning, work allocation, and continuous monitoring of team performance to drive improvements.
Role and Responsibilities:
Team Management:
- Build, motivate, and maintain a cohesive and high-performing sales team.
- Handle team attrition and implement strategies to retain top talent.
- Plan and allocate resources according to team targets and objectives.
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee Inbound & outbound sales activities and processes, implementing improved approaches as needed.
- Ensure departmental operations meet all work requirements and customer needs.
Customer Interaction:
- Contact customers and present current products or services effectively.
- Understand customer requirements and ensure successful execution.
Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor team performance on key metrics, including Quality SLA, touch time/AHT, and production.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance.
- Interact with the Line of Business to align team goals with overall business objectives.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven Experience/ Track record.
- Proven work experience as a Sales Team Leader or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems and in-depth understanding of performance metrics.
- Experience in call center and back-office operations, particularly in insurance processing (health insurance or motor insurance).
Product Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the Motor Insurance product line is essential.
- Understanding major and minor Health Insurance is an added advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in data management with a strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, or a related field preferred.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in sales leadership, with a focus on insurance processing and call center operations in Motor Insurance Vertical
