Compliance: Ensure all accounting activities comply with established standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Financial Analysis & Insights: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identify key trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll to ensure timely and accurate processing.
Process Improvement: Develop and implement efficient financial processes and procedures to enhance workflow and accuracy.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with project managers, estimators, and other key stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost tracking across projects.
Cost Management: Analyze and manage project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure adherence to budget and financial goals.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
Certifications: CPA, CMA, or CA certification is highly desirable.
Software Skills: Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP). Experience with construction accounting software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid) is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly.
Organization: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy and compliance.
