Accounts Receivable / Denials (AR)

Skillset & Experience:

• Understanding of payer reimbursement methodologies
• Expertise in payer guidelines, Medicare/Medicaid, commercial payers
• Proficiency in insurance follow-up and denial resolution
• Knowledge of timely filing limits, reconsideration, and appeal processes
• Experience in insurance verification and benefits coordination
• Ability to analyze aging reports and reduce AR days (DAR)

• Epic, Cerner, Meditech

Job Description:

• Monitor and follow up on unpaid or denied claims
• Work on denial management and appeal processes
• Collaborate with payers for claim resolution and escalations
• Reconcile payment discrepancies and post adjustments
• Track and report trends in denials and underpayments
