Accounts Officer, HCI
The Accounts Officer ensures the efficient management of finance by keeping track of the debtor and/or creditors accounts and statements, and regular follow-up to ensure that overdue accounts are settled. The Accounts Officer keeps track of the student fee payments and ensures that all dues are cleared before completion of course.

The Accounts Officer is expected to perform the following along with additional duties to meet the requirements of the role:

• Maintain accurate records of pending payments and outstanding debts, reporting them monthly.
• Process payments to suppliers following company policies and procedures.
• Ensure financial records are updated and reports are shared with the manager.
• Oversee collections and payments to align with budgets and financial plans.
• Coordinate with suppliers and clients to resolve payment-related issues.
• Monitor the Institutes financial performance and suggest ways to improve profitability.
• Keep track of financial statements, invoices, and superannuation records.
• Uphold ethical accounting practices and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Manage funding claims and ensure all receivables are properly recorded and collected.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree with specialization in accounting or relevant field

Desirable:

• Knowledge about the accounting practices in Australia.
• Minimum 1-year experience in similar role.

Skills and Knowledge

• Experience in maintaining records in server.
• Capacity to negotiate with debtors to make prompt payment.
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience of contributing to a team environment.
• Intermediate skill level with accounting systems, Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.

Benefits:

• Salary Ranges from Rs35,000 to Rs45,000 per month based on relevant experience.
