Accounts Officer (Vessel Accounting)

• The person is responsible for full compliance with expectations of the customers in the given process. Also responsible in contributing to the effective implementation of Global Sharedservice Centre (GSC) process.
  

  
  
• Fund request, Lube oil, Pre paid entries.
• Handling Payroll (Portage Bill), Reconciliation, Port Disbursement, Principal (Owner) Reporting, Accounts Payable & Receivable
  

  
  
• Keeps up to date with changes in the accounting legislation and reviews the operation of the department, proposing and, upon approval, implementing improvements in policies, procedures and guidelines, enhancing the smooth and efficient workflow of the department.
  

  
  
• Update/Review all the management accounting systems, in order to provide prompt and adequate information concerning costs and other financial/ accounting information, for purposes of control and evaluation of operations performance.
  

  
  
• Optimise utilisation of available resources with effective planning and control.

Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
