Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced, PRO ACTIVE and knowledgeable Accounts Manager to join our real estate company. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of accounts, taxation, GST, bank funding, and regulatory requirements.
- They will be responsible for managing financial operations, handling cases with the GST and Income Tax departments, and representing the company in various financial matters. The candidate should have strong connections in the banking sector and extensive experience in real estate accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. -Financial Management:
- Oversee all financial transactions and accounting functions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Taxation and GST:
- Handle all aspects of taxation and GST.
- Manage cases with the GST department and Income Tax department.
- Prepare and submit accurate tax returns and GST filings.
- Represent the company in tax-related matters and make appropriate replies.
3. Bank Funding and Loan Management:
- Prepare and manage documents for bank loans.
- Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Secure funding and manage bank relationships effectively.
4. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with RERA regulations.
- Stay updated with changes in real estate laws and regulations.
5. -Contract and RA Bill Management:-
- Vet work orders for contractors and ensure accuracy.
- Manage RA bills and related documentation.
6. Team Guidance and Mentorship:
- Guide the site team on financial and accounting matters.
- Mentor the sales team in raising demands and securing payments.
- Collaborate with the sales team to obtain risk management reports.
7. Representation and Reporting:
- Represent the company in financial matters with external parties.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for management review.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Masters degree or professional qualification such as CA/CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 12 to 16 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- At least 6 to 8 years of recent experience in the real estate sector within the last 5 to 6 years.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, GST, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong experience in handling cases with GST and Income Tax departments.
- Proven ability to prepare and manage bank loan documentation.
- Excellent understanding of RERA regulations.
- Experience in vetting contractor work orders and managing RA bills.
- Strong connections within the banking sector.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
