Record To Report Accountant

Reconcile intercompany accounts regularly to ensure that balances between entities matches.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in intercompany balances.
Manage intercompany transactions involving multiple currencies, including handling foreign exchange gains and losses.
Assist in managing intercompany cash settlements and netting arrangements.
Maintain proper documentation for intercompany transactions, adhering to internal policies and legal requirements.
Prepare intercompany reconciliations for month-end and year-end closing, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and post journal entries related to intercompany transactions as per policy.
Identify inefficiencies in intercompany accounting processes and propose improvements.
Collaborate with finance and other departments to improve the accuracy and efficiency of intercompany transactions.
Provide detailed schedules, explanations, and supporting documents related to intercompany transactions and reconciliations to internal and external auditors.
Assist with any queries or issues raised during audits related to intercompany activity.
Coordinate with regional accountants, financial controllers, and other team members across different entities to ensure consistency in recording intercompany transactions.

What do I need to bring with me

Demonstrated knowledge and experience

5 or more years of experience of accounting domain
Knowledge on Global Intercompany process is preferred.
Experience of using NetSuite, and Blackline preferred
Attention to detail to ensure accounting entries are correct
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong service orientation/responsiveness
Excellent Excel skills
IFRS experience preferred
Experience of process improvement

Technical skills and qualifications
Bachelor s degree in accounting or related disciplines
Inter CA or CMA nice to have.
