Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to handle core financial tasks, compliance, and day-to-day accounting activities. The candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accuracy in financial records, timely tax compliance, and audit preparations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. GST Compliance:

• Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C.
• Perform GST reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with statutory regulations.

2. Income Tax Management:

• Compute income tax, assist in tax audits, and working of advance tax payments.
• Prepare provisional balance sheets and support in year-end tax filings.

3. Audit Support:

• Assist in statutory audits by preparing trial balances, fixed asset schedules, and depreciation calculations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory audit requirements and ICFR (Internal Control over Financial Reporting).

4. Day-to-Day Accounting:

• Manage bookkeeping, journal entries, and ledger reconciliations.

5. Financial Reporting & Compliance:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for audits and compliance reviews.

6. Fixed Asset Management:

• Maintain fixed asset registers and calculate depreciation as per statutory guidelines.

7. Other Duties:

• Monthly closing monitoring and checking.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Key Requirements:

1. Education:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CA/ICWA/CS part qualified is preferred.

2. Experience:

• Minimum [2 years] of experience in accounting, tax compliance, and audit support.
• Must have worked with the CA or Tax Consultants and hands-on experience with GST filings and reconciliations is essential.

3. Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems).

Advanced knowledge of Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

4. Soft Skills:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
