Accolite - Cypress Automation Engineer (5-8 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled 5+ years experienced Cypress Automation Engineer with experience in Behavior Driven Development (BDD) to join our team in Gurgaon. As a Cypress Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests using Cypress for our web applications. You will work closely with the development and quality assurance teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities :

- Experience with JavaScript and Cypress test library

- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Cypress for web applications

- Collaborate with the development and quality assurance teams to understand testing requirements and develop effective test strategies

- Implement Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices and create feature files and step definitions using Gherkin syntax

- Identify and report software defects and work with the development team to resolve issues

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code and test coverage

- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation and BDD

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- Proven experience as a Cypress Automation Engineer or similar role

- Strong understanding of BDD principles and experience with tools such as Cucumber, Gherkin, or SpecFlow

- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript

- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus
