Opening For Engineering Manager- Bangalore (Immediate joiner)

Role & responsibilities

As an Engineering Manager:

• Understand mission and vision and Product goals and make sure his/her team delivers the same with triple constraints in place
• Collaborate between Technical product managers, evangelists and devise the Product development plans , Release plans
• Accountable for the delivery of the product features as planned.
• Clearly understands the product lifecycle and should be able to collaborate with other Product teams for product dependencies and resolutions
• Monitor, Track and report progress of his teams.
• Identify issues / risks proactively and solve them with a suitable mitigation plan
• Understands Jira board and Agile processes and SDLC
• Understand roles and responsibilities of all and maintain the chain of command
• Understand products and environments (Understands Veracode and Veracodes products and can suggest improvements to process and technical approach.)
• Deep understanding of Quality process/people management / infrastructure management etc.
• Self-starter/inquisitive. Should be able to take abstract direction and execute.
• Bring innovation in delivery approach and suggest value additions / improvements.

Skills:

• Communication and desire to make things better (continuous improvement)
• Understands product development lifecycle.
• CI/CD pipelines
• Observability (DataDog/SumoLogic) - basic understanding of operations and how these are important
• Knowledge on Governance Regulation and Compliance, SOC compliance, SLC
• Java , SRE, Performance, Quality, DevOps and DBA – understand these areas at high-level
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS), EKS, K8s, Docker, Terraform – basic understanding of
• Software version control (git)
• Problem Solving / Troubleshooting
