SQL Developer - (2-8 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

- Write complex SQL queries to support data extraction, transformation, and reporting needs.

- Optimize database performance by analyzing query execution plans and implementing indexes and other database tuning methods.

- Collaborate with data analysts, software developers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop SQL-based solutions.

- Implement data integration processes for importing/exporting data from/to various data sources.

- Ensure data integrity, security, and consistency by enforcing data standards and best practices.

- Perform database backup, recovery, and migration tasks as needed.

- Monitor and troubleshoot database performance and connectivity issues.

- Document data models, queries, and stored procedures to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing within the team.

- Stay current with SQL and database-related technologies and best practices

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 1+ years of experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar role.

- Strong proficiency in SQL programming, with experience in a major RDBMS (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

- In-depth knowledge of database design principles, normalization, and data modeling.

- Experience with stored procedures, functions, triggers, and other SQL-based automation.

- Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration methodologies.

- Knowledge of database security best practices.

- Understanding of query optimization techniques and database performance tuning.

- Proficiency with data visualization tools

- Experience with source control systems

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
