Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems using Java Standard Edition. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting, debugging, and providing technical support to ensure smooth functioning of the applications.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to identify and solve issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to Java Standard Edition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth functioning of the applications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to the applications.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Standard Edition.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience in application support and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting issues related to Java Standard Edition.
- Experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation.
- Experience in code reviews and adherence to coding standards.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Java Standard Edition.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
-Should be flexible in shifts including Night and be available for on-call as well
