Summary:As an Application Tech Support Practitioner, you will act as the ongoing interface between the client and the Avamar Backup Administration system. You will be dedicated to quality and use exceptional communication skills to ensure the smooth operation of our world-class systems. Your role will involve accurately defining client issues and designing resolutions based on your deep product knowledge. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of the Avamar Backup Administration system.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.- Assist clients in troubleshooting and resolving issues with the Avamar Backup Administration system.- Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring their satisfaction with the system.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Avamar Backup Administration technology.- Proactively identify areas for improvement and suggest enhancements to optimize system performance.
Professional & Technical Skills:- Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Avamar Backup Administration.- Experience with Avamar Backup Administration tools and technologies.- Strong understanding of backup and recovery concepts.- Knowledge of data deduplication techniques and best practices.- Familiarity with storage systems and protocols.- Good To Have Skills:Experience with other backup and recovery solutions.- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Additional Information:- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Avamar Backup Administration.- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.- A Graduate degree is required.
