Project Role :Application Support Engineer

Project Role Description :Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing and Implementing Routing Solutions:oEnsure efficient and reliable routing across various network architectures.oTroubleshoot, maintain, and optimize existing network configurations.

Routing Protocols:oManage and configure routing protocols including Static Routing, TCP/IP, BGP (Border Gateway Protocol), and OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) to support various network designs.oApply expert knowledge to resolve routing issues and ensure seamless connectivity.

MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching):oOversee and support the implementation and management of MPLS networks to optimize traffic flow and improve network performance.oEnsure proper configuration of MPLS for Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPNs, supporting business-critical applications.

LAN/WAN/VLAN Setup and Maintenance:oDesign and manage Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and Virtual LANs (VLANs), ensuring secure and efficient communication within and between sites.oSupport network segmentation and virtualized environments to enhance security and performance.

IP Addressing & Subnetting:oExpert in IP Addressing and Subnetting for both IPv4 and IPv6 to optimize address allocation and network performance.oEnsure adherence to best practices in IP design, ensuring scalability and redundancy.

SD-WAN Operational Support:oUnderstanding of the Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) solutionsoEvaluate, troubleshoot, and optimize SD-WAN performance across multiple sites.

F5 Load Balancers:oManage and optimize F5 Load Balancers for efficient distribution of network traffic, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.oTroubleshoot and configure load balancing policies to meet the needs of critical applications.

Meraki Solutions:oImplement and troubleshoot Meraki devices (MR, MX, MS) for seamless wireless and security solutions across the network.oPerform regular upgrades and maintenance on Meraki equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Network Security and Infrastructure Management:oManage Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for secure network access control and policies.oWork with Infoblox for DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) solutions, ensuring network reliability and scalability.

Troubleshooting and Support:oDiagnose and resolve complex network issues across routing protocols, security layers, and traffic management solutions.oProvide proactive support and troubleshooting for network outages, performance degradation, and other issues.

Good To Have Skills:-Knowledge of Cloud Computing and Virtualization technologies.-Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies.-Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.-Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
Additional Information:-The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Enterprise Network Operations.-The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.-This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
