Job Summary:
The School Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the academic and administrative functions across different grade levels, ensuring effective curriculum implementation, faculty coordination, and smooth day-to-day operations. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to maintain high academic standards and a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Coordination:
- Ensure smooth implementation of the curriculum as per the schools academic framework.
- Coordinate lesson planning, timetable scheduling, and syllabus completion across grades.
- Conduct regular meetings with teachers to review progress, discuss challenges, and provide support.
- Monitor teaching methodologies and suggest improvements to enhance learning outcomes.
- Oversee assessment processes, including exams, report cards, and student evaluations.
Faculty Management:
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and mentoring of teachers for respective sections.
- Conduct teacher observations and provide constructive feedback for professional development.
- Organize workshops and training programs to enhance faculty competencies.
- Ensure discipline, punctuality, and adherence to school policies among teachers.
Student Development & Discipline:
- Monitor student progress and address academic or behavioral concerns in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Implement and oversee student engagement programs such as clubs, extracurricular activities, and leadership initiatives.
- Handle grievances, discipline issues, and ensure a safe and supportive school environment.
- Collaborate with the counseling team for student well-being and career guidance programs.
Parental Engagement:
- Maintain regular communication with parents through PTMs, circulars, and digital platforms.
- Address parental concerns and provide updates on student progress and school activities.
- Organize parent orientation programs and interactive sessions for better school-home collaboration.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Assist in policy implementation and documentation related to academics, discipline, and school operations.
- Maintain records of faculty and student performance, attendance, and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with the Principal and Management to strategize improvements and future growth plans.
- Ensure compliance with educational guidelines, safety regulations, and school policies.

- Deep understanding of curriculum frameworks and teaching methodologies.
- Ability to multitask and manage school operations efficiently.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters / Bachelors Degree in Education (B.Ed / M.Ed) or relevant field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in teaching or academic coordination, preferably in a reputed school.
- Experience in handling administrative responsibilities and leading academic teams.
Preferred Attributes:
- Familiarity with modern pedagogical techniques and NEP 2020 guidelines.
- Exposure to CBSE
- Passion for education and student development.
