Garment Merchandiser

Responsibilities:

• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research to understand current fashion trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies for ladies' and children's garments.
• Product Development: Partner with designers and manufacturers to create new clothing lines that align with market demand and the brand's image.
• Merchandise Planning: Forecast inventory needs, plan assortments, and manage stock distribution across stores or regions based on sales trends and demand.
• Supplier Coordination: Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely production and delivery of garments while upholding quality standards.
• Sales Analysis: Review sales data to track performance and make data-driven decisions to enhance sales strategies and boost profitability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and retail teams to implement effective marketing campaigns and promotional activities.

Qualifications:

• Fashion Merchandising Background: Bachelors degree or equivalent in fashion merchandising, apparel design, or a related field.
• Industry Experience: Extensive experience in merchandising, with a proven track record in the fashion industry.
• Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and fashion preferences, particularly for women and children.
• Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing sales data, market research, and forecasting techniques.
