It has been in the fore-front of providing end-to-end software solutions and services to the bus industry in our country.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities: (Dynamics 365 software)
1. Invoice Processing:
o Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in accordance with company policies.
o Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and coding of invoices for payment
processing.
o Manage vendor reconciliations and resolve invoice discrepancies.
2. Operator Payment Management:
o Prepare and process payments (NEFT, RTGS) as per payment schedules.
o Maintain accurate payment records, ensuring timely disbursements and avoiding
late payment penalties.
o Reconcile accounts payable ledger and ensure it aligns with the general ledger.
3. TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) Compliance:
o Calculate TDS deductions for various payments such as professional fees, rent,
contractor payments, etc.
o Timely deposit of TDS with government authorities.
o Prepare and file TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.) quarterly.
o Issue TDS certificates (Form 16A) to vendors and ensure timely distribution.
o Handle any discrepancies in TDS payments or returns and respond to notices, if
applicable.
4. GST (Goods and Services Tax) Compliance:
o Review and ensure GST compliance on all vendor invoices, including correct tax rates
and HSN/SAC codes.
o Coordinate input tax credit (ITC) claims and ensure timely reconciliation with GSTR
2A/2B.
o Prepare monthly GST liability and ensure timely filing of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B
returns.
o Assist in GST audits and respond to GST queries or notices from authorities.
5. Vendor Management:
o Maintain vendor master data, ensuring correct details like PAN, GSTIN, and payment
terms.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely resolution of
queries.
o Assist in vendor registration and onboarding, ensuring compliance with internal
policies.
6. Reporting:
o Prepare monthly accounts payable reports, including outstanding payables, payment
forecasts, and aging analysis.
o Assist with monthly closing activities, including preparing necessary journal entries
for AP and tax liabilities.
o Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations.
7. Process Improvement:
o Identify and recommend process improvements in the accounts payable function to
enhance efficiency and accuracy.
o Collaborate with the IT/ERP team to streamline AP processes and reporting,
including automation.
8. Other Responsibilities:
o Maintain accurate records of all tax filings and documentation for future reference.
o Assist in budgeting and forecasting of cash flow related to payable activities.
o Handle ad-hoc assignments as required by the finance management team.
o Preparation of Weekly cash flow forecast
Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelors degree in Commerce (B Com) or Chartered Accountancy (CA) Intermediate qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles
  • Proficiency in Dynamics 365 software
  • Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, and TDS regulations
  • Excellent understanding of accounts payable processes and vendor management
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software tools
