Application Engineer

Job Description:

• Position Application Engineer
• Experience: 2+ years of experience
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Instrumentation)
• Budget: 25K to 30K CTC + Incentives (Negotiable)
• Responsibilities:

Inside Sales –

1. Existing/ New customer enquiry receipt. Evaluation of enquiry from feasibility standpoint and escalate to manager if required.

2. Quote preparation with detailing

3. Preparation of supportive documents for Quote

4. Site visit/ customer visit for understanding C requirement along with direct sales team if

5. Requesting /receiving quotes from vendors and evaluation of received quotes from commercial and technical

perspective. Identification /selection of right product.

6. Interpret client’s technical specifications accurately and propose technical/commercial alternatives that enables the lowest compliant bid while providing the highest value to the customer.

7. Ensure any technical/commercial or contractual risks to the company are identified and mitigated.

8. Ensure proposals costing and pricing is in line with the company’s agreed strategy on sales & marketing.

9. Write high quality technical and commercial documents and reports and present them to both internal and external stakeholders.

10. Complete cost estimates and proposals within the required time.

Detailed Engineering –

1. Preparing exact & detail BOM along with drawing /P&ID wherever required

2. Handover of detail Process to Purchase & execution

3. Identification of part numbers & technical evaluation for detailing

4. Preparation of technical specifications for ordering purpose.

5. Preparation of project documentation such as final drawing, technical submittal, critical project tasks such as pressure testing process, equipment installation process requirement etc.

6. Be apart from start to end if required
