Senior Executive - Instrumentation & Electrical Maintenance

Role Name: Shift Executive Instrumentation & Electrical Maintenance

Location: Bhara Pachpera, Pilibhit, Uttarpradesh

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelors or Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of instrument systems like DCS, SCADA, PLC, PID Controller
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics
• Key Skills: Strong Communication & Influencing Skills, negotiation skill, people management, problem solving, decision making, self-reliant
• 4-5 years of experience in Plant Electrical/ Instrumentation and Control maintenance in Yeast/Distillery/Chemical Process industry

Key Role & responsibilities

Operational

• Responsible for all electrical and instrumentation related maintenance related in the shift,
• Oversee and lead the team of electricians.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure that electrical products and systems are maintained well
• Attend to electrical and instrumentation breakdowns in speedy manner and restore the operations
• Daily and weekly run checks without fail to ensure equipment health and safe work environment
• Execution of preventive/any other planned maintenance as per agreed standard and timeline
• Identify and troubleshoot Instrumentation & control issues with equipment promptly to minimize downtime.
• Prioritize and plan maintenance activities based on the urgency with a focus on operations continuity
• Suggest ways to minimize planned maintenance downtime without a compromise on machine reliability
• Identify shop floor hazards and conducting risk assessments in line with health and safety policy
• Liaise with Senior Executives - mechanical maintenance to keep machinery in best health and fit for production

Reporting and Communication

• Assist with shop floor data to prepare weekly/monthly and any other ad-hoc maintenance reports.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair cost, timeline and resources incurred.
• Communicate with stores/procurement to maintain optimal stock of critical spare parts
• Monitor slow-moving/non-moving inventory in electrical spares and report as needed.

Training and Compliance

• Conduct inspections to ensure that electrical and distribution systems work according to safety guidelines
• Training of electricians to improve their skillset, motivation and teamwork.
• On-the-job training to team of electricians/contractors to ensure accident-free workplace
• Monitor and enforce safe behaviours for own staff/contractors on-site to comply with safety norms.
