Job Title: Principal Analyst - FP&A

Report to: Manager

Location: Bengaluru, India

1. PURPOSE OF ROLE

The Principal Analyst will play a crucial role in overseeing the end-to-end Supply chain Financials for the 2T Belgium. Their primary responsibility involves collaborating with key stakeholders to meet SLAs and targets, while consistently improving processes and reports. Timely closure of monthly deliverables is essential, and the individual should proactively seek opportunities for value addition and efficiency improvements in business operations. Effective stakeholder management and teamwork with approximately 8-10 team members are integral to the role.

The position necessitates daily oversight of activities, including regular updates with the Manager on People, Technology, and Process. The Principal Analyst will work closely with the Manager to gather relevant feedback, align it with targets, and support team members in their professional growth within the organization.

2. KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Reporting and Analysis:

Custodian and driver of Variable Logistics Costs & ZBB for Belgium 2nd Tier On-trade Network.

Develop and enhance financial reports, ensuring financial accuracy and relevance.

Provide actionable & insightful analysis on financial performance, trends, and key metrics like Volumes, Cost drivers etc.

Collaborate with Business stakeholders (for eg. DC Managers) to create meaningful and actionable financial plan and drive efficiencies.

Month-End Closure:

Ensure timely and accurate closure of month-end financial activities starting from posting Accruals to preparing Supply Chain Financials.

Perform reconciliations and variance analysis to identify and address discrepancies and present to the On-Trade team.

Prepare Monthly Rolling forecast (LE) & deep dive presentations based on the results of the month and remedial actions required.

Proactively drive process improvements for efficiency in month-end procedures & insights.

Logistics Operations:

Collaborate with logistics operations teams to understand and analyze financial implications of Change in Business strategies.

Support in optimizing costs and improving financial performance within logistics operations.

Prepare 1YP, Bottoms up & drive champions & Escalations in collaboration with the Logistics operations.

3.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Please list the following requirements:

Level of educational attainment required

Chartered Accountant or master s degree in finance or commerce related field, Core interest in finance transformation and digital solutions.

Previous work experience required:

At least 4 to 6 years in FP&A related position.

Should possess thorough knowledge on FMCG business structure.

Language skills required:

Fluent business English

IT skills required:

Overall understanding of - MIS, Anaplan, Cognos, MS Office, Power BI (Advantage to have)
