Merchandiser & Quality controller

APPAREL MERCHANDISER AND QUALITY CONTROLLER
VACANCIS IN CHINA.
A leading apparel brand in the USA is seeking merchandisers and quality controllers with a minimum of 5 years experience who are able to work as a team for its China buying office.
Merchandiser
Primary Responsibilities:

1. Product sourcing with competitive pricing and quality.
2. Review and ensure tech pack accuracy for SMS and bulk production.
3. Collaborate with QA Team to verify style vendor factory activities.
4. Verify costs.
5. Monitor WIP reports and conduct meetings.
6. Track the status and delivery of samples.
7. Monitor the calendar and engage with cross-functional teams to ensure all key dates are met.
8. Coordinate with the head office.

Education and Experience:

1. Experience and knowledge in sports/activewear (knit and woven) required.
2. A Minimum Bachelor's university degree and professional work experience are required.
3. Fluent in English (speaking and writing).

Quality Controller
Primary Responsibilities:

1. Inspect and ensure product quality at various stages of production.
2. Work closely with vendors to address quality issues.
3. Conduct regular audits of factories to maintain quality standards.
4. Coordinate with the merchandisers to ensure quality control standards are met.
5. Ability to conduct fabric inspections is a plus

Education and Experience:

1. Experience in quality control within the apparel industry.
2. Knowledge of quality standards and inspection techniques.
3. A Minimum Bachelor's university degree is required.
4. Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
